Magnificent Mathematicians have been hard at work preparing for their mathematics exam this week on the four operations of decimals. From adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing, and converting metric measurements, students reviewed all of the mathematical material learned the past 6 weeks in preparation for their exam. They reviewed through a "Flash N' Dash" game, Barquesburgh Basketball, IXL, and the Study Guide. Next week, we will be coding Ozobots to travel around the Fort Christian Parking Lot as students build their own Carnival-complete with roller coasters, ferris wheels, and Carnival sheds in preparation for Carnival break next week!

Students in mathematics will be researching various species of sharks and tracking the distance they have traveled via satellite communications. We will be rounding their weight, length, and distance traveled to various place values and are going to be using tape diagrams to track their progress as they continue to travel through the oceans.
